Import Gulf Cars is a website run by My Car Import. This page explains, in plain terms, what happens to the information you give us here. Our full privacy policy is on the My Car Import website, and it applies to this site too.

What we collect

This site does not collect your personal details. It has no forms of its own. When you press "Get a quote" you go to the quote form on My Car Import's website, and what you enter there is handled under their privacy policy. That covers your name, email address and phone number, details of the car, and where it is.

If you ring or email us, we use what you tell us to answer you and to prepare your quote. We do not sell your details, and we only share them where it is needed to do the job, such as our shipping agents, HMRC and the DVLA.

Cookies

This site does not set any cookies. There are no analytics, advertising or tracking tools on it, and nothing is loaded from other websites: our fonts, images and code all come from this site. That is why you are not asked to accept cookies.

One page remembers something. The leaving the Gulf checklist keeps your ticks in your own browser, under the name igc-leaving-checklist-v1, so they are still there when you come back. It is only there because you ticked something, it never reaches us, and clearing your browser data removes it.

Links to other websites, such as Trustpilot, Google Maps, Instagram and LinkedIn, load nothing until you click them. Once you are on their site, their own cookie rules apply.

If we ever add analytics, we will ask for your consent first and update this page before we do.
